111th Congress and Beyond

In the 2006 mid-term elections, the American people spoke loud and clear. In 2008, they spoke again. They were tired of the corruption, scandals, and the misplaced priorities of the Republican agenda. They demanded accountability for a disastrous and unnecessary war and better solutions to protect America. Above all, they yearn for a revitalized economic future for American families.

American’s hunger for change was borne out when they elected 41 new Democratic members of Congress in 2006 and 32 more in 2008. Some were elected in extremely competitive districts, and others in places that hadn’t seen a Democratic Representative in decades.

DemocraticFreshmen.org is a new organization dedicated to the reelection of freshmen Democratic Representatives in 2008. Through your support and generosity, we will ensure that each of these new members is able to lead the type of quality campaign that will bring them back to Washington and allow them to continue to represent the best interests of America.
